Two years ago I tried to start a blog for my classroom but it fizzled out. I look forward to reentering the blogosphere with the goal of keeping it going for an extended period of time. I want this blog to not only be a place where I can reflect on information gleaned in my current MAEd courses, but also a place to collect and share new ideas for enhancing my classroom with the use of technology. This week in The Connected Educator I have discovered an awesome organizational and time-saving tool, Feedly. Organization does not come naturally to me, so this tool is one I am excited to try out.
At the beginning of this school year my district decided to do away with Microsoft and switch over to Google. So I have had a little bit of experience with using Google tools for education in my classroom and am beginning to feel more comfortable with it. I was excited when I saw that we will be using a google account in this class, I hope to learn new ways to utilize Google in my lessons.
So, hello again blog world, let's do this! :)
